Ride the Change

On Thursday 3rd November Burdall’s Yard welcomed the team from Ride the Change, a collection of organizations and individuals cycling for climate justice. Last year they cycled from London to Glasgow for COP26 and it was a huge success! They had 175 riders complete the 500-mile cycle, raising 5,574 climate action pledges.

Building on this success, they did it again this year! This time they rode from South Wales to London, handing the COP baton over to Egypt ahead of COP27.

You can find out more on their website or in their Tour Pack for riders which has much more information in it and plenty of pictures from last year's ride.

In 2020, they merged with adventure touring company Brake the Cycle, market leaders in sustainable, boutique nature-inspired cycling holidays.

Brake the Cycle is a community for adventurous people looking to squeeze the most out of life in a way that doesn’t harm the planet. A community for people who love adventuring and the outdoors so much they don’t want to see it destroyed through climate change, plastic pollution and the loss of our wild spaces.
