Ann Ellison BEM - artistic director - and Becca Jefferis - venue manager - were delighted to welcome Councillor Kevin Guy to Burdall’s Yard on Monday. After a tour of the building Cllr Guy discussed how this exciting new venue would enhance arts and community facilities in the city. Ann Ellison said “ Next Stage Theatre Company is seeking to provide attractive, affordable spaces to serve local practitioners who wish to set up daytime classes in Bath for such activities as yoga, Pilates, dance, art, storytelling, drama, theatre, language classes, and toddler groups”.

Becca Jefferis added that Burdalls Yard was already getting busy with evening bookings and she would love to hear from anyone interested in hiring the venue or joining the team of volunteers who are happy to help behind the bar or front of house when Burdall’s Yard is open. Becca says “it’s a great way of meeting like-minded people and getting to see some fabulous shows”.
