Burdall’s Yard is the hub of an exciting creative community, it’s a space open to people of all generations and backgrounds to learn, laugh and be together. Take a look at our listings below to discover the regular groups, daytime and evening classes taking place here.

Our unique building houses some extraordinary spaces. Available both for work and community use, we’ve a variety of rooms from which to choose. Join a host of artists, yoga teachers, choir masters and more when you hire one of our inexpensive rooms to meet with a group or run your class.

We’re keen to support everyone in Bath in whatever way we can, sharing this unique building with as many as possible. If you need a space, get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Next Stage Youth

    Launched in the same year as the parent company, Next Stage Youth has been in existence since 1994. Next Stage tutors and actors have coached hundreds of youngsters, preparing many for performances, auditions, competitions, and even professional work too.

    We offer you the ultimate support system, with a whole team of different pregnancy, birth, and parenting experts guiding you throughout.

    You’ll also meet a friendly and sociable group of local expectant parents just like you.

    Our Bath antenatal classes are priced at £199 for two people. We provide a single-parent discount.

    Holly Warren is a life long student of Yoga, who loves conveying movement dialogue in an accessible and intelligent way. Her classes are open to all and are a place to discover a relationship with your own body and play with how yoga can support you in your daily life.

    Come along to the Burdall’s Yard, buy a drink, and then get singing with friends and family and have some fun.

    Matt Finch will conduct and direct from the piano and he has over 25 years of experience of running choir. He has finally come to the conclusion that if the best bit of a choir rehearsal is going to the pub afterwards, let's combine the two and just have some fun!! ​ ​​You don't need any choir experience, just the desire to sing with others and have a fun night.

  • Open Floor Dance Class

    Monthly:

    Beyond the benefits of a good dance , Open Floor is an embodied movement practice that includes and aligns the physical and the emotional body, the mind, and the soul.

    Participants become grounded and centred and learn to recognise the body's limits, to listen and to take care of it. Dancers become resilient and creative with their emotions and move creatively through the stories of the mind to an emobodied and soulful state of being.

    All bodies with varied physical abilities are welcomed.

    Bringing the best of the West End to Bath

    Monthly musical theatre workshops for ages 8-15 that are open to all levels of experience, no audition necessary.
