Bath Spa University’s ‘Commercial Music’ students welcome you to a night of live music from emerging talent from their course. This night centres around jangly guitars and post-punk noise.
Bristol-based and graduate band Split Lip had their first show at Burdall’s Yard back in April then again in June, supporting London band Hank before playing other notable venues including The Lousiana, Bristol. The slowcore group is the solo project of the guitarist for Paper Crowns and the drummer for Custard, two more fantastic local bands, and perfectly draws the line between angular post-punk and thought-provoking songwriting.
Also joining us on the night is punk/psych rock group Icehouse and a brand new project Facelift, who have a keytar player… obviously.
