All are welcomed to an evening in celebration of the works of local artist Bob Gale, who will be exhibing their work from 2nd September to 17th October in The Burrow.
“ The Majority of my work, both oil paintings and acrylic collage, are inspired by landscape with the inclusion of water in its many forms.
The inherent atmosphere of place is frequently the motivation for visual possibilities. Pembrokeshire, New Zealand and especially Corsica have been the inspiration for numerous works but rarely the image of a specific location. Rather they are a composite, a grafting together of the elements often after a lengthy gestational period.
I am aware that showing my paintings and acrylic collage together may be confusing for some people but as I have the same enthusiasm for both it would be disingenuous not to show both disciplines.
I currently show my work at the Indra Rose Gallery in the Mall, Clifton Bristol”
This is a free to attend event, no pre booking is required
