Bath Spa University is hosting the Innovation In Music conference across the weekend of the 20th – 22nd June.

Our conference theme is ‘New Beginnings’, and we have asked musicians, producers, technologists and researchers to explore what happens when you get the chance to start something new or when you get to start something over, by rebooting or resetting things.
 
To launch the conference, BSU are presenting a concert of performances and talks by creative musicians from across the Bath and Bristol region.

The concert will feature performances by the experimental artist and producer, Kayla Painter, the drummer and composer, Mark Whitlam and Nervio Cosmico, who combine acoustic instruments from ancient South American traditions with synthetic sounds and live electronics.
